Welcome to Mrinalini Datta Mahavidyapith

Mrinalini Datta Mahavidyapith, a co-educational Degree College, was established on 5 March, 1964 by Birati Siksha Samsad to cater primarily to the students coming from middle class and financially backward families of Birati and its adjacent rural and semi-urban areas.

 

The college was affiliated to the University of Calcutta since its establishment and then came under the affiliation of West Bengal State University, Barasat, North 24 Parganas from the session 2007-08.

 

The main objective of the college is to provide quality higher education and achieve academic excellence.

The College administration believes in transparency and concentrates on running the whole admission process with sincerity every year. Our college played a pioneering role in introducing online admission and is successfully running the system since the year 2012.

Our faculty members are actively engaged in high quality research and in transferring the results of the research to students and community through their publications, lectures, presentations etc. In the last five years five UGC research projects have been completed and submitted by faculty members.
